Essential Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of PCI DSS is mandatory.
  • Advanced technical reading and comprehension skills are essential.
  • Experience with PCI Validation Assessments is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity is necessary.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and HIPAA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, leading control walkthroughs, and documenting relevant information is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, even under pressure.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the organization's audit and compliance programs (e.g., PCI, CCPA/CPRA).
  • Acting as the primary subject matter expert for the PCI program.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to monitor and uphold security controls, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Creating and tracking remediation plans in partnership with responsible parties.
  • Leading scoping activities, managing documentation requests, conducting walkthroughs, and executing other audit-related tasks.
  • Collaborating with control owners to enhance controls for systems within scope.
  • Effectively communicating compliance status, timelines, risks, and remediation efforts to key stakeholders.
  • Conducting research and analysis to stay informed about GRC knowledge, Information Security, and emerging technologies.
  • Serving as a compliance liaison among business, technology, and legal teams.
  • Participating in third-party risk management initiatives.
  • Conducting targeted risk assessments.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of training programs in compliance areas.
  • Coordinating new solution designs across technology departments to meet business and compliance needs.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking with peers.
  • Leading GRC projects, guiding team members, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Ensuring effective management of vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitating meetings and discussions.
  • Identifying gaps and researching third-party tools for ongoing improvement.
  • Reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Acting as the Software Administrator for the compliance platform.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
