About the Role:
Kong is seeking a seasoned Sales Development Director to lead our AMER Sales Development team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our sales pipeline across the AMER region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives and Managers.
- Hire and retain top talent in the industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute a go-to-market plan for pipeline generation.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales leadership.
- 5+ years of experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with sales strategy development and execution.
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
