Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Midwest Foods is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic growth plan to drive business expansion and revenue growth
  • Cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
  • Retention of clients with ongoing purchases and increase customer penetration through a diverse group of clients
  • Drive a proactive approach to client engagement through solution-oriented practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Business reviews with necessary parties to assure customer satisfaction, client retention, and purchasing expansion
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five to seven years of related professional experience in sales in manufactured goods or similar industry
  • Contract negotiations and P&L experience a plus
  • Develop and deliver presentations that will attract profitable sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert in planning and implementing sales strategy
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience with CRMs (ie. Hubspot, SalesForce, Zoho, etc.)

Compensation:

Salary plus commission/bonuses. Time of hire negotiated base salary that is experience-based.
