Position Summary:
This supervisory role involves direct oversight of team members. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluation, alongside fulfilling daily operational tasks as necessary. This is an hourly position.
Position Specifications:
- Housing: Potentially available.
- Expected Compensation: $53.98 per hour.
- Work Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round.
- Skill Level: Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist management in executing their responsibilities effectively.
- Schedule maintenance for ski lifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Establish and adhere to priorities regarding safety, quality, and integrity.
- Monitor and address safety concerns in the workplace.
- Maintain lift logs and document all maintenance activities.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with inspections for all lifts.
- Train and guide technicians and apprentices in proper maintenance practices.
- Ensure adherence to ANSI B.77 regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
- Support lift operations through training and supervision.
- Participate in departmental meetings and company events.
- Maintain and repair lift facilities according to company policies.
- Assist in managing departmental budgets.
- Coordinate with various departments proactively.
- Schedule manpower and resources in collaboration with other supervisors.
- Inspect lift facilities daily.
- Enhance safety and efficiency of lift operations.
- Manage projects effectively.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of ANSI codes.
- Oversee procurement of tools and equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication between the maintenance crew and management.
- Implement and improve preventative maintenance programs.
- Monitor program effectiveness and pursue continuous improvement.
- Actively engage in daily maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical background with proven experience in ski lift maintenance.
- Expertise in troubleshooting lift malfunctions.
- Effective communication skills with both staff and guests.
- Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Excel.
- Highly organized and adaptable to change.
- Clean driving record.
- Leadership abilities with a commitment to professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Possess Level III mechanic skills and capabilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory codes.
- Experience with heavy equipment for lift repairs.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
The expected pay range is $53.98 per hour. This range reflects our anticipated compensation for this role, with individual salary decisions based on various factors.
