Position Summary:

Service excellence is at the core of our mission at Vail Resorts, and our Lift Operations team exemplifies this commitment. As a Lift Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the safe functioning of resort lifts, acting as a courteous and efficient champion of guest service with demonstrated leadership skills.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Compensation: $23.04 per hour
  • Availability: Full Time & Part Time
  • Experience Level: Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily lift operations, including staff scheduling and procedures for lift opening and closing.
  • Assist in the recruitment, support, and training of operators in daily operations and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate lift operator performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance, including recognition or corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and enforce all relevant laws, policies, and procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Collaborate closely with ski patrol, mountain safety, lift maintenance, and electrical teams to address and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Encourage a clean and organized work environment.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, comments, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in lift or mountain operations is required.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

The expected compensation for this role is $23.04 per hour. This reflects the range we anticipate for this position, with individual compensation decisions based on various factors.
