Job Overview
The Assembly Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in articulating business objectives, initiatives, and methodologies within the Assembly Test Division.

In this capacity, you will leverage your expertise to address technical challenges, formulate and implement strategic goals, mentor international teams, communicate effectively with leadership, and propel organizational objectives.

This position is centered on enhancing Assembly Rotor Stack and Balance for GE Aerospace's manufacturing and refurbishment operations through the development and application of best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Possess a thorough understanding of rotor structural components and engine assembly processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in vector mathematics and statics.
- Develop and deliver training materials focused on engine assembly rotor stack and balance best practices.
- Conduct the design, analysis, or assessment of assigned projects utilizing sound engineering principles while adhering to corporate standards, practices, and product/program specifications.
- Serve as a mentor to global engine assembly rotor teams, providing expert guidance and support.
- Act as a technical resource for colleagues and clients, offering consulting expertise.
- Provide technical leadership to team members involved in the assigned project.
- Document technical data generated by the project in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.
- Regularly communicate and present key project milestones to the leadership team.
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with global teams to share and implement assembly best practices across various locations.
- Act as the technical liaison to equipment manufacturers, ensuring accurate technical specifications and timely delivery of machinery and equipment.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in rotor structural components and engine assembly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in rotor structural components and engine assembly.
