Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Production: Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies, using hand tools or machines as required.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that components meet the required standards.
- Material Handling: Organize received material, load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift, and prepare inventory for shipment to vendors and customers.
- Labeling and Packaging: Label finished parts and ensure that they are properly packaged for shipment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Dependable, reliable, and prompt, with good attitude and willingness to learn. Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably and consistently, with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Equipment and Tools: Experience with blueprint reading, hand tools, measurement tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
