K2 Staffing is a leading provider of IT staffing solutions, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our clients by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows 10 workstations, Windows 2016 & 2019 servers, advanced networking, and vendor-specific hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user assistance and technical support via phone, email, or in-person
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Windows Desktop-related issues
  • Assist with Windows Server administration and maintenance
  • Monitor alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines
  • Use various message logs to affect repairs and troubleshoot issues
  • Escalate service requests requiring enhanced response
  • Conduct new user onboarding and network services installations
  • Support LAN/WAN installations and maintenance
Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience in IT help desk, desktop support, or a similar field
  • Experience with remote management and monitoring (RMM) software, such as ConnectWise or Kaseya
  • Proficiency in PSA (or ticketing) software, like Autotask
  • Familiarity with network and firewall administration, including Sonicwall and Meraki
  • Basic knowledge of network, server, and workstation troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our team
