About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about cybersecurity and technical support. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our customers resolve complex technical issues related to our next-generation firewalls.

Job Description:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, including:

  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues related to firewall configuration and operation
  • Configuring and troubleshooting firewalls to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Participating in technical discussions with customers and internal teams to resolve issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cybersecurity or network security engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN, OSPF, BGP)
  • Experience with security protocols (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE)
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of one or more virtualization hypervisors
  • Demonstrable basic knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure installation, configuration, and administration of security features and services
  • Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of deploying firewalls in public cloud infrastructures
  • Understanding of next-generation firewall devices
  • Experience deploying third-party networking and security services into VMware NSX for vSphere is a plus
  • Working knowledge of next-generation firewall delivered as a cloud-native service is a plus
  • Knowledge of traffic generation tools and scripting languages is a plus
  • Previous experience supporting Palo Alto Networks products is a plus
