Critical Facility Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Engineer III to join our team at Scott Residential Management. As a Critical Facility Engineer III, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems operations for our facilities located at Scott Technology Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and assist in the maintenance of specialty systems by third-party providers.
- Make routine cosmetic repairs to the facilities, such as painting, hardware repairs, etc.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Create reports.
- Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations established by your manager and Scott Residential Management policy.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A fundamental understanding of facility remodeling, the operation of HVAC and electrical systems, including but not limited to:
- Working understanding/experience of Electrical Theory and Operation (Voltage, Current, Power Factor, etc.)
- Working understanding/experience of high voltage switch gear a plus.
- Working understanding/experience in Principals of Operation of Centralized Cooling and Boiler Systems
- Working understanding/experience of Building Control Systems and Ability to Manipulate
- Ability to Utilize Web-Based Maintenance Management Systems
- Ability to Troubleshoot Equipment Failures to Find Root Cause
- Working knowledge of building projects.
- Working experience in building remodeling including trim, flooring, ceiling, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to follow drawings and blueprints.
Additional Experience is a Plus:
- Exposure to and/or Experience with Data Centers/Critical Facilities
- Experience with low voltage installation and documentation.
- Experience with telecommunications cabling/fiber installation and documentation.
- Facility remodeling including replacement of flooring, ceilings, painting, drywall, and plumbing.
- Ability to use desktop applications.
- Ability to create reports.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a data center setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels.
