Job Summary

The Scott Technology Center is seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Engineer III to oversee the mechanical and electrical systems operations for facilities located at the Scott Technology Center. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of facility remodeling, HVAC and electrical systems, and building control systems.

The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of facility remodeling, the operation of HVAC and electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment failures to find the root cause. Experience with data centers and critical facilities is a plus.

The Critical Facility Engineer III will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, assisting in the maintenance of specialty systems by third-party providers, and making routine cosmetic repairs to the facilities. The candidate will also participate in the on-call rotation and create reports.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of facility remodeling, HVAC and electrical systems, and building control systems

  • Experience with data centers and critical facilities is a plus
  • State of Nebraska or Iowa driver's license

Work Environment

The work environment is a data center setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels.
