Ceco, a proud brand of ASSA ABLOY, is expanding its Operations Management Team. We are in search of a Value Stream Manager to join our manufacturing facility.

Your Role:

As our Value Stream Manager, you will oversee and enhance the complete value stream within our manufacturing operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless flow of materials and information from suppliers through production to delivery, while improving productivity, minimizing waste, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the value stream to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and boost overall efficiency within the value stream.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve challenges affecting the value stream, including production bottlenecks, quality issues, supply chain disruptions, workflow layout, equipment downtime, inventory management, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, and overall plant performance.
  • Employ Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to promote continuous improvement initiatives and cultivate a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Conduct regular value stream mapping sessions to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement actionable plans.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills in Lean principles and practices, increasing production volume, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage value stream budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • May initiate and recommend the acquisition of new capital equipment.
  • Participate actively in fostering a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
  • Adhere to and enforce compliance with all applicable regulations, company standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of operational leadership experience with a proven ability to lead teams and achieve results through others.
  • Demonstrated experience in value stream management, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in metal forming or highly configured products, is preferred.
  • Track record of enhancing employee satisfaction and work-life experience.
  • Comfortable being present on the manufacturing floor and engaging with employees at all levels.
