About Us: Ceco, a brand under ASSA ABLOY, is eager to welcome a Quality Assurance Manager to our team. This position is fully on-site at our manufacturing facility.

Your Role: As a pivotal member of the Operations Management Team, you will lead, develop, and uphold quality initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining quality standards, protocols, and procedures in line with industry regulations and corporate objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancement and executing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce defects using LEAN methodologies.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to uphold quality standards for incoming materials and components, conducting supplier audits, and setting performance metrics to ensure consistency.
  • Implementing comprehensive quality control measures throughout the production process, including inspections, testing, and validation procedures to identify and rectify deviations from quality standards.
  • Leading investigations into quality concerns, performing root cause analysis, and instituting corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and enhance overall quality performance.
  • Providing training and support to employees on quality management systems, tools, and techniques to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across all organizational levels.
  • Staying informed about regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards to maintain product safety.
  • Utilizing data analytics tools to evaluate quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators, and generating regular reports to communicate quality performance and inform decision-making.
  • Acting as a liaison between quality assurance and customer-facing teams to address customer feedback, complaints, and concerns, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Participating in creating a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, company standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is required. Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with at least 7 years in a quality role and a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.
  • Experience in a quality function related to metal fabrication, metalworking, or metal finishing is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing LEAN methodologies, including statistical process control and quality system programs.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to create graphs and develop statistical information regarding product quality and process capability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects under tight deadlines.
