Role Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, your primary focus will be on designing and implementing systems that optimize productivity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability while prioritizing safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and executing process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including ISO14001 standards.
- Conducting research and analysis on materials, tools, and processes to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
- Recognizing opportunities for cost savings in labor and materials.
- Developing and documenting projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes.
- Designing layouts for manufacturing cells to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance throughput.
- Applying lean principles to optimize workflows and equipment utilization.
- Leading lean initiatives and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and improving productivity, yield, and minimizing downtime.
- Participating in special projects as assigned, contributing to a safe and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and Lean principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Metal Fabrication or related industries is a plus.
