We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective safety programs and policies to prevent injuries and illnesses
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
- Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents and near-misses
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and wellness
- Develop and maintain safety records and reports
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- OSHA 10/30 certification and knowledge of OSHA and TOSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work varied hours to meet the needs of all shifts
