Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and handling requests for medical records and basic scheduling.
  • Collect payments for copays and deductibles, and make financial arrangements for patients.
  • Perform check-in and out duties accurately and timely, and make appointments for visits.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and record the information in the medical record.
  • Enter patient demographics into the practice management system, and take clear and concise messages from pharmacies, physicians, and hospital personnel.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clerical experience preferred.
  • Experience in cashier procedures, basic accounting, clinic check-in/out procedures, basic health insurance, HMO, PPO, and basic medical terminology preferred.
  • 6 months of customer service experience and 6 months of telephone customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
