Overview:
Paladin, Inc is seeking a dedicated Mail Processing Specialist to support our operational needs. This role involves managing various mailroom tasks to ensure efficient processing and distribution of mail and packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, receive, and process incoming mail, packages, and supplies.
  • Deliver and collect mail according to established schedules.
  • Maintain logs and records for accountable mail items.
  • Resolve issues related to mail delivery with postal services and couriers.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment, coordinating with delivery services.
  • Conduct quality checks on mail to ensure accuracy of addresses.
  • Utilize various mail services, including fax and express shipping.
  • Complete shipping documentation and data entry as required.
  • Perform finishing tasks on documents, including folding and inserting.
  • Manage electronic mail distribution, including scanning and organizing.
  • Assist with fulfillment tasks such as assembly and tracking of materials.
  • Adhere to mailroom security protocols.
  • Utilize barcode tracking systems for incoming mail and packages.
  • Process faxes and ensure timely distribution.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory of supplies related to mail and distribution.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Operate and maintain mail processing equipment.
  • Follow packaging standards for various types of materials.
  • Drive as needed for mail delivery.
  • Utilize mailroom equipment as per training.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a client-focused environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and file management.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with data entry tasks.
