Pharmaceutical Sales Customer Engagement Specialist

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Sales Customer Engagement professional to join our team. As a key member of our customer engagement team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through strategic partnerships with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies to meet business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
- Provide clinical and scientific expertise to customers, including product information, disease state education, and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customer engagement initiatives and programs.
- Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare providers on topics such as product access, on-label information, and established guidance on patient care.
- A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
- Must reside within commutable distance of 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory.
- Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players.
- 4 or more years' experience working in a sales role with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products and working across a complex healthcare system environment.
- Clinical nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) experience highly valued.
- The ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation.
- Proven track record in coaching, training, and/or mentoring peers or others as assigned.
- Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals.
