Position Title: Senior Environmental Project Leader

Location: Northern California

Overview: Are you a licensed California Professional Geologist (P.G.) with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients in need of subsurface environmental consulting? ACC Environmental Consultants is seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Environmental Project Leader. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a variety of environmental initiatives across Northern California, utilizing your expertise to develop innovative solutions and surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Oversight: Lead a range of environmental initiatives, guiding them from inception to completion with professionalism and integrity.
  2. Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for our clients, building strong partnerships and acting as their trusted advisor on environmental matters.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Expertly navigate California's environmental regulations, ensuring all projects adhere to legal standards.
  4. Environmental Assessments: Direct teams in conducting comprehensive evaluations of environmental conditions, including soil and groundwater analysis and remediation strategies.
  5. Remediation Strategy Development: Create and implement innovative remediation plans, leveraging cutting-edge technologies for optimal outcomes.
  6. Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  7. Proposal Development: Collaborate on the creation of persuasive project proposals that highlight our capabilities and attract potential clients.
  8. Quality Control: Uphold high standards of quality in all project outputs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  9. Safety Advocacy: Promote a culture of safety within project teams, ensuring a secure working environment for all.
  10. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and strategies to enhance our presence in the environmental consulting sector.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology.
  2. Active California Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required.
  3. At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly with California projects.
  4. In-depth knowledge of California's environmental regulations.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  6. Strong leadership skills, with a passion for guiding and motivating project teams.
  7. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office, as well as Autodesk and Adobe applications.
  8. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
