Your Role: As a Senior Architectural Project Leader, you will collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals, both internally and externally, who are committed to the success of their projects. This position allows you to explore innovative solutions that lead to aesthetically pleasing and sustainable designs across various scales.

In this role, you will guide a team alongside the project architect and project manager, ensuring projects are executed successfully through your independent judgment and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with SERA's graphic standards among team members.
  • Oversee independent construction contract administration.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 3-6 staff members, coordinating their work effectively.
  • Utilize building codes to create architectural drawings and provide interpretations that align with project goals.
  • Engage with jurisdictions to facilitate the acquisition of building permits.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients to ensure their vision is realized throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project initiatives while collaborating with various SERA resources to achieve objectives.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited program, with an architectural license preferred. A minimum of six years of professional experience is ideal, along with proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam. LEED AP certification is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of OSSC/ADAAG and the ability to navigate code variances and appeals.
  • Familiarity with other relevant codes and the USGBC LEED rating system.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify solutions and make informed decisions.
  • Capability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project outcomes.
