About the Role:
The Foodservice Sales and Business Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the sales team in increasing sales for their district. This role will involve calling on existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales for their district
- Build relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans
- Provide market research and analysis to support sales efforts
- Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations
Requirements:
- Must be a current student or recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must be able to travel to customer sites and attend sales meetings
- Must have a strong understanding of sales principles and practices
