Job Summary:
Patient care technicians play a vital role in the healthcare team by providing support to nurses and other medical professionals. As a medical support associate at King's Daughters Medical Center, you will be responsible for assisting with non-clinical tasks such as maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and performing administrative duties. You will also assist with routine patient care, including vital sign checks, administering treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist nurses with non-nursing tasks such as crash cart checks, quality control checks, and retrieving equipment/supplies
* Perform routine patient care activities such as vital sign checks, administering treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families
* Maintain accurate records of patient information and report any concerns or issues to nursing staff
* Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure smooth care delivery and resolve any issues promptly

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved State Registered Nursing Assistant Program (SRNA) preferred
* Current certification as a State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) in Kentucky (or equivalent certification in another state)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment
* Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods required
