About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Georgia as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Inclusive Excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating the development and implementation of outreach programs and activities that promote diversity and inclusion in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Young Scholars Program, including recruiting and conducting educational activities, assisting with the campus-wide application process, and scheduling and conducting interviews.
  • Participate in statewide recruiting programs to facilitate enrollment in the CAES, with a focus on underrepresented groups.
  • Assist with the recruitment and retention of underrepresented undergraduates, including OIE programs.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Inclusive Excellence, including providing customer service and support, facilitating campus relationships, and creating reports.
Requirements
  • Technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work with youth and manage multiple priorities.
