Program Coordinator III

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Coordinator III to join our team at the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government. This role will provide project support and logistics management to our sponsored programs and activities in the fields of Electric Mobility and Energy Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and facilitate meetings, conference sessions, and stakeholder convenings with local and state government, utilities, transportation agencies, planning agencies, economic development leaders, and other related stakeholders.
- Prepare and/or assist with preparing project meeting materials, coordinate conferences, events, client meetings, and agendas, and manage post-event tasks.
- Oversee and track progress on multiple projects ensuring organization and timely completion of tasks and milestones, develop and manage tools and processes to track and coordinate multiple projects throughout the life cycle of each project.
- Contribute to and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, proofread contracts and transcribed notes, develop and maintain project records, respond to client requests, and track project budgets and deliverables.
- Coordinate project logistics including scheduling, material presentation, and communication with internal teams and external partners, manage the client and customer support process for ongoing applied research and outreach projects in consultation with faculty and research staff.
- Develop and refine technical documents, reports, and presentations related to electric mobility and energy infrastructure through drafting, editing, and review, provide support for note-taking, data collection, research, and report writing, produce programmatic reports and evaluation summaries as required by clients, grants, and unit faculty, and provide communication support for internal updates on unit projects.
- Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field, please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
- Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a field of study commensurate with public administration, management, or a related field, experience associated with government or community relations is preferred.
