Financial Resource Management Analyst

Command Holdings is seeking a Financial Resource Management Analyst to enhance program oversight, strategic initiatives, operational assistance, overseas logistics, and training operations for USSOUTHCOM.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Aid in the creation of essential information products for programming and planning.

2. Offer expertise in best practices concerning expenditure tracking, funding, and budget preparedness.

3. Coordinate financial-related Integrated Product/Process Teams (IPTs), advisory boards, off-site meetings, working groups, and audit committees.

4. Assist in the Command planning process by evaluating plans, drafting deliverables, and conducting In-Process Reviews (IPRs).

5. Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed needs and formulate Courses of Action (COAs) for senior leadership review.

6. Support the collection, monitoring, and analysis of commitment, obligation, and expenditure data from financial systems or records.

7. Contribute to the preparation of mid-year and program review assessments.

This position is contingent upon award.

Work Environment:
Moderate noise levels typical of a business office setting with computers, phones, and printers, alongside occasional loud noise from airfields or heavy machinery.

Ability to remain seated at a computer for extended periods is required.

Physical Demands:
While fulfilling job responsibilities, the employee must be able to sit, stand, speak, and hear.

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer is necessary.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel, approximately 10%.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Active Secret security clearance.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in PPBE, budgeting, and/or resource management.

3. Ability to analyze complex issues and present them clearly and concisely.

4. Experience in the DoD environment.

5. Excellent communication skills, influencing capabilities, and client focus.

6. Professional proficiency in English is required.

7. Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

8. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

9. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship for work visas is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree.

2. Active Top Secret security clearance.

3. Experience working at or with the headquarters level of a military service.

4. Experience briefing senior leaders.

5. USSOCOM or TSOC experience.
