Vuori, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Store Experience Manager to lead our retail sales team in creating an unforgettable customer experience. This role is responsible for ensuring each customer receives the best possible experience, maintaining Vuori's standards in retail sales and customer experiences, and motivating the sales team to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Take ownership of the sales floor and sales team to ensure customer experience is the top priority.
  • Prepare the fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest knowledgeable feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit.
  • Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging with them about product details, new product replenishments, and upcoming events.
  • Stay up-to-date on what's new and what's selling well and share this information with both customers and the team.

Business Development:

  • Lead the team on day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager is not present.
  • Motivate the sales team and drive sales growth in a team-based commission environment.
  • Develop expertise in new product knowledge within the broader fashion landscape and active-wear specifically to serve as an expert for customers.
  • Oversee the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
  • Communicate inventory needs to support business objectives.

Leadership/Ownership:

  • Assist the Store Inventory Lead in processing all shipments of product, as well as inventory management.
  • Work closely with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management to ensure smooth business operation.
  • Lead the team in daily store maintenance, including restocking product, maintaining visual merchandising, and cleaning.
  • Adhere to utmost responsibility, attention to protocol, and safety standards in opening and closing the store daily.
  • Under the guidance of the Retail Store Manager, encourage employees to give their best effort, adhere to punctuality, and fulfill role responsibilities at all times.

Operations:

  • Complete weekly manual restock and submit reports to inventory management.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts.
  • Assist in processing weekly shipments.
  • Ensure all store supplies are stocked and communicate needs on a monthly basis.
  • Process online returns and defective products as needed and ship to the warehouse.
  • Handle restock and destock tasks daily.
  • Keep the backroom clean and bins organized.
  • Manage Aloha displays, refreshing and restocking weekly.
  • Manage mannequin refreshes and one-off checks.
  • Ensure all merchandising standards are met on the floor.

Requirements:

  • Able to work morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with availability for at least one weekend day.
  • Punctual attendance and adherence to scheduled shifts are essential.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • An expert in customer service, creating experiences, and developing relationships with customers, embracing the social aspect of sales and handling customer concerns positively and proactively.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Willingness to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $28-$31 per hour plus commission. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, employee discount, and 401(k) plan.
