Retail Store Operations Manager

About the Role:
We're seeking a seasoned retail professional with a passion for leadership and a knack for driving results. As a Retail Store Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment. You'll also be responsible for promoting sales growth through effective merchandising, visual displays, and customer engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train store staff to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and visual display plans to drive sales growth
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Participate in weekly workload planning meetings to align with business objectives
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price or big-box retail environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more, as well as stand and walk for extended periods
Compensation and Benefits:
