Lead Store Design and Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Development and Project Management Specialist to oversee the design and construction of our Uniqlo stores in the US and Canada.

This is a unique opportunity to join our team and utilize your expertise in project management, store design, and construction to deliver high-quality retail experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of store design and construction projects from feasibility studies to final handover to our store operations team.
  • Collaborate with external project management firms, architects, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and Uniqlo's quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the retail or architecture industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to desired quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of store design, construction, and operations principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
