Job Summary

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, services, and auxiliary resources related to the Case Management and Client Assistance programs at Meals On Wheels Inc. of Tarrant County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure program compliance within the Client Services department with relevant federal, state, and local policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Work with all departments at Meals On Wheels in regard to facilitation of client intakes, assessment, program on-boarding and initiation, and monitoring of services.
  • Supervise the Client Services department, which consists of Case Management and Client Assistance staff.
  • Represent Meals On Wheels in a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, donor, volunteer, staff, and board information.
  • Support the mission, vision, and goals of Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County.
  • Assist with meal delivery when volunteer callouts make it necessary for staff to deliver.
  • Contribute to other projects when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in social work or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of grant management and reporting.
  • Crisis intervention skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, organization, and time management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and technology systems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Create and conduct presentations to local groups and organizations.
  • Work after hours and weekends when necessary for special initiatives or events.
  • Must be able to lift, load, and unload up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, get in and out of a vehicle, reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time.
