Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, provides close observation of patients and assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides close observation of patients and reports any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment, including maintaining patient rooms and common areas.
- Promotes the therapeutic environment and the efficiency of the nursing team.
- May provide safe patient transport throughout the facility as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification optional.
