Performance Improvement Coordinator

The Performance Improvement Coordinator will:

  • Assist the Director of Performance Improvement in daily operations related to Quality Measurement, Assessment, and Enhancement in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Support Medical Staff Committees and Clinical Departments in monitoring and assessing patient care while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Serve as a resource for Committees, providing assistance in retrospective evaluations as necessary.
  • Offer technical support to medical staff departments and committees in developing metrics for assessing patient care quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; RN designation is preferred.
  • Experience in Performance Improvement and/or Quality and Safety project management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with patient care evaluation methodologies, standards, and regulations pertaining to performance enhancement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management databases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various departments and Medical/Dental Staff.
  • Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality is preferred.
