Performance Improvement Coordinator
The Performance Improvement Coordinator will:
- Assist the Director of Performance Improvement in daily operations related to Quality Measurement, Assessment, and Enhancement in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Support Medical Staff Committees and Clinical Departments in monitoring and assessing patient care while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Serve as a resource for Committees, providing assistance in retrospective evaluations as necessary.
- Offer technical support to medical staff departments and committees in developing metrics for assessing patient care quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required; RN designation is preferred.
- Experience in Performance Improvement and/or Quality and Safety project management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with patient care evaluation methodologies, standards, and regulations pertaining to performance enhancement.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various departments and Medical/Dental Staff.
- Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality is preferred.
