Director of Human Resources

The University of Georgia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with UGA business objectives
- Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage employee relations issues, oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, and analyze HR data
- Ensure legal compliance and lead the HR team in driving initiatives that promote organizational effectiveness and cultural transformation
- At least a baccalaureate degree in the field
- Proficiency with HR data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Smartsheet
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to organize, remember, and derive appropriate conclusions from large amounts of information
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
