Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at My First Place. As an Infant and Toddler Care Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in infants and toddlers.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that meets the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
  • Document daily progress, milestones, and service plans for each child, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in regular case conferencing sessions, staff meetings, and in-service trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with at least 3 units in infant/toddler care.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
  • Proof of ECE course completion, CPR/First Aid certifications, and a complete criminal background check.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
