About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center. As a Child Development Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-teach with other educators to deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Plan and organize activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition for children
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 24 semester units of Early Childhood Education, including all CORE classes and Infant/Toddler Development
  • Current/Valid California Commission on Teaching Credentialing - Teacher Permit
  • 2 years of experience working with preschool-age children
  • 6 months of supervised field experience in an early childhood setting
  • 6 months of experience working with infants and toddlers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
