Job Opportunity at St. Vincent's

St. Vincent's is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Teacher to join its team at the Early Childhood Education Center. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 ECE units, including core courses and at least 3 Infant/Toddler units
  • 6 months teaching experience (lab experience is acceptable)
  • Community First Aid/Pediatric CPR certification
  • Commitment to ongoing education in the field of Early Childhood Education
  • Ability to work independently with a strong level of organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with all levels of clients
