About the Role

Fields Motorcars of Lakeland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a luxury experience for our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build long-lasting relationships with customers by asking questions, listening carefully to their responses, and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technology to provide expert advice and demonstrations.
  • Deliver high-quality and professional vehicle demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure referral business and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop strong sales skills to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve sales objectives, plan activities, and analyze results.
Requirements
  • Experience as an Automotive Sales Consultant is required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and weekends is necessary.
  • Ability to learn new products and technologies quickly is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Professional and well-groomed personal appearance is required.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check is necessary.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger and reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
Work Environment
  • Up to 90% standing and walking in all weather conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The position is constantly engaged in talking and listening.
  • Standing and walking are frequently required.
