Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome members, potential members, and visitors, ensuring a high standard of customer care.
  • Manage front desk operations, which include:
    • Answering phone calls courteously and assisting with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system efficiently.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when required.
  • Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A genuine interest in fitness and health is essential.
  • Must possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Reliability and punctuality are critical.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities; capable of engaging positively with members and colleagues, surpassing their expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent verbal communication in person and over the phone.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • May encounter hazardous materials during shifts.
