Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Client Manager to join our Commercial Lines team at Alera Group, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Relationship Management: Provide exceptional client service, respond to client inquiries, and resolve client issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement sales strategies, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Manage client accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and audits, to ensure seamless service delivery and maximize revenue growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Lines Account Manager, other team members, and external partners to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, document management, and reporting, to support the team's efforts.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, with a focus on management lines of business (D&O, EPLI, Professional, Cyber).
  • Licenses and Certifications: P&C license required, with continuing insurance education activities viewed favorably.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with experience in integrated platforms such as Applied EPIC and INDIO preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, delegate, and manage workloads, with a strong focus on responsibility, organization, and self-motivation.
Work Environment

The work environment is a normal office setting with controlled temperature and moderate noise levels.
