Position Overview:
The Client Manager role is pivotal in overseeing the comprehensive workflow for the designated portfolios of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries, offering insights on suitable coverage modifications, and clarifying contractual obligations.
- Educate clients regarding policy exclusions and potential risks, ensuring they are well-informed.
- Prepare necessary documentation prior to policy expiration and rectify any financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Sales Executives, Department Heads, Marketing, Claims, Accounting, Loss Control) and external stakeholders (Clients and Insurance Providers).
- Strategically plan, prioritize, and manage daily tasks, balancing new business initiatives, renewals, and routine service obligations to meet deadlines.
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies for new and renewal clients as needed.
- Update and maintain client applications and relevant information in the agency management system.
- Oversee audits, cancellation notices, endorsements, certificates, and policy verifications.
- Conduct all operations in alignment with established policies and protocols.
- Participate in client meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Valid Arizona Property/Casualty license or the ability to transfer an existing license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven capability to foster and maintain productive relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Some college education or technical training in a related field.
- Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, or CISR.
- Familiarity with Sagitta and ImageRight systems.
