Strategic Client Relations Manager
The Strategic Client Relations Manager (SCRM) is responsible for driving sales initiatives for a select group of key accounts. The SCRM collaborates with essential customer leadership and stakeholders to devise, implement, and manage growth strategies for facility service projects encompassing mechanical, electrical, lighting, eMobility, the ABM Enhanced Facility Program, facility services engineering, and parking management. Additionally, the SCRM will promote other facility services and ensure the quality of ABM programs while adhering to contract stipulations. The SCRM will also oversee financial performance, including P&L, accounts receivable, work order management, and issue resolution. As a leader, the SCRM will be expected to deliver engaging client presentations and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging, consulting, advocating, and communicating with primary existing client management and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying, strategizing, and executing growth initiatives for current clients.
- Assisting in the retention and re-bid RFP processes with existing customers.
- Supporting operations by tracking and documenting all escalations within the current client base.
- Conducting account visits with operations to uncover additional opportunities.
- Presenting information to clients during significant meetings and reviews, facilitating the QBR/CBR process with operations.
- Encouraging internal growth through cross-selling and expansion.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of ABM's full suite of services and capabilities to ensure client awareness.
- Expected to achieve and surpass fiscal targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience managing major accounts.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the services industry.
- Technical proficiency in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, mechanical systems, building automation, electrical power, and/or EV solutions.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively to all organizational levels, including executives.
- Strong expertise in account management within the facilities services sector.
- Proven success in selling and/or expanding large, complex accounts.
- Experience in building relationships with existing clients to maintain current sales and facilitate additional business and services.
- Able to represent the company at local or regional conferences and national meetings.
- Must possess the ability to quickly resolve issues and manage multiple accounts across a broad geographic area.
