Job Title: Strategic Category Manager

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving procurement value and developing strategies to optimize cost structures, improve vendor performance, and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute category sourcing strategies
  • Manage the F'real equipment and supplier network
  • Build short-term and long-term category visions aligned with business stakeholders
  • Direct and lead category-specific analyses and reporting, supply market research, and spend analytics
  • Negotiate and implement supplier agreements/contracts
  • Deliver price transparency and establish competitive total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Lead negotiations driven by category strategy to achieve optimal value for the business
  • Drive metrics, data reporting, and dashboards to support value optimization goals
  • Apply Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategy and segmentation to streamline the supplier base
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5-7 years of strategic procurement experience, with a focus on category management and large project negotiations
  • Ability to travel up to 30% both domestically and globally
  • Food industry experience is highly preferred, but other industries such as plumbing, small kitchen appliance, coffee machines, chemical, and automotive are also encouraged to apply
