Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of electrical systems at our project sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Testing: Lead and oversee the commissioning and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical technicians and engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and operations teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical commissioning and operations management, with a strong background in electrical systems and plant operations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as OSHA or electrical safety certifications.
