About the Role:

The Electrical Superintendent is a key member of our team at MasTec Inc., responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of electrical construction projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical construction, with experience in supervising teams and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and delegate site activities to achieve deadlines and production goals
  • Supervise a team of foremen, leadmen, and crew members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and scope
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to their satisfaction
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance and support to the team
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site activities, materials, and labor
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and other team members, to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong background in supervisory roles
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management tools
