Manager of Patient Services
We are seeking a proactive individual with exceptional leadership capabilities to join our rapidly expanding specialty pharmacy management services team. The ideal candidate is focused on results, dedicated to service, and possesses a background in pharmacy or healthcare. As the Manager of Patient Services, you will be instrumental in supporting our specialty pharmacy and medication adherence initiatives. Your role will encompass leading a team of pharmacy liaisons, mentoring and developing staff, ensuring operational objectives are achieved, and spearheading growth initiatives with health system partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide a team of Specialty Liaisons to deliver exceptional patient experiences
- Mentor and develop the liaison team while fostering the Shields culture at partner locations
- Ensure regular performance coaching, feedback, and training for liaison teams
- Facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders
- Drive growth and efficiency initiatives at partner locations
- Collaborate with leadership teams to execute strategic growth initiatives
- Provide expertise to hospitals and clinics
- Identify and contribute to process enhancement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Preferred minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- 5 years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy with direct patient interaction
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage performance metrics
- Patient-centered, high-integrity, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player
- Experience in an outpatient or medical clinic setting is advantageous
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead by example
