We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to become a vital part of our compounding pharmacy. This position requires a full-time commitment and is open to candidates licensed in multiple states, including Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, analyze, and interpret physician orders.
- Dispense medications and manage a team of Pharmacy Technicians effectively.
- Oversee the compounding of solid oral dose tablets and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects.
- Supervise the maintenance of the compounding environment and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and report any deviations to the Quality Control/Compliance Officer.
- Facilitate training for pharmacy personnel on compounding techniques and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for pharmacy practice and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Previous experience in compounding is highly desirable.
