Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Commission
On-Target Earnings: $200K - $300K

Position Overview:

We are in search of a motivated and skilled Automation Sales Regional Manager to lead our sales and business development efforts in a specified region. This position offers a unique chance to drive sales initiatives focused on our automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities and a successful history in manufacturing solutions sales, particularly in automation. Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential for forecasting and calculating sales figures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to align with corporate objectives within the region.
2. Oversee sales forecasting activities and establish performance benchmarks.
3. Analyze market data to identify customer needs and sales potential, implementing strategies to enhance market presence.
4. Deliver impactful sales presentations to key clients in collaboration with sales representatives.
5. Engage with key clients, supporting sales representatives in relationship management and deal negotiations.
6. Facilitate communication between the sales team and engineering departments.
7. Monitor and manage division expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints.
8. Represent the organization at industry trade association meetings to promote our products and solutions.
9. Generate regular sales reports detailing sales volume, potential opportunities, and proposed client base expansion.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing solutions sales, with a focus on automation.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with the capability to comprehend and present technical concepts.
4. Strong sales forecasting skills and experience in territory development.
5. Excellent numerical abilities for calculating discounts, commissions, and other financial metrics.
6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
7. Proven track record of building and maintaining robust customer relationships.
8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
9. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
