Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Automation Sales Regional Manager to lead our sales and business development efforts in a specified region, concentrating on our automation offerings. The successful candidate will possess strategic insight and a strong history in sales of manufacturing solutions, particularly in automation. They should have analytical capabilities and robust numerical skills, enabling them to forecast and analyze sales data effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives for the region.
2. Oversee sales forecasting and establish performance benchmarks.
3. Analyze market data to identify customer needs and sales potential, implementing strategies to grow market share.
4. Conduct sales presentations for key clients in collaboration with sales teams.
5. Engage with major clients, supporting sales representatives in relationship management and deal negotiations.
6. Facilitate communication between the sales team and engineering departments.
7. Monitor and manage division expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints.
8. Represent the organization at industry events to showcase our products and solutions.
9. Generate regular sales reports detailing sales performance, potential opportunities, and client base expansion strategies.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales of manufacturing solutions, with a focus on automation.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, capable of interpreting and presenting technical information.
4. Strong sales forecasting skills and experience in developing sales territories.
5. Excellent numerical aptitude for calculating discounts, commissions, and other financial metrics.
6. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
7. Proven track record of building and sustaining customer relationships.
8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
9. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
