Position Overview:

We are in search of a motivated and forward-thinking Project Estimator to enhance our Engineering department. This role will concentrate on Automation and Estimation, where the successful applicant will be tasked with crafting and executing automation strategies, formulating project proposals, and overseeing various engineering initiatives. This position is ideal for individuals eager to leverage their expertise in a stimulating and fulfilling setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cutting-edge automation strategies to boost manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Create comprehensive project proposals and cost estimates, ensuring meticulous accounting of all expenses.
  • Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to grasp project specifications and devise effective engineering solutions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Inventor, and additional tools for designing and planning manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot automation equipment including Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
  • Oversee welding and fabrication projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to fulfill project requirements and address any emerging challenges.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project status, identifying potential issues and implementing necessary corrective measures.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automation solutions, project estimation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Inventor, and other engineering design software.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and RSLogix.
  • Understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Self-driven, with a keen interest in continuous learning and improvement.
