Role Summary


The Social Media Outreach Specialist will work closely under the guidance of the Used Truck Manager and collaborate with various members of the sales management team, as well as other dealership staff designated for specific training functions.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete all assigned training modules.

2. Achieve Z Factor certification within two months.

3. Participate in all required training sessions from MPG, Peterbilt, and external providers.

4. Enhance product knowledge by studying truck and equipment specifications.

5. Manage and develop content across all social media platforms in alignment with MPG policies.

6. Build and nurture customer relationships via phone and online communication channels.

7. Promptly respond to customer inquiries from various electronic sources.

8. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.

9. Request updated images and specifications from the sales team.

10. Ensure smooth transition of customers to the sales team to maximize closing rates.

11. Clearly communicate customer needs to the Used Truck Manager.

12. Post used truck inventory on relevant online platforms.

13. Work with the sales management team to create effective e-marketing strategies.

14. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

15. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Personal Attributes

Education:

High School Diploma

Technical Skills:


Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer operations, social media management, electronic communication platforms, spreadsheets, web applications, search engine optimization (SEO), word processing, databases, email, and CRM software.


Language Proficiency:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.


Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from customers and the public.


Mathematical Skills:


Capability to perform basic math operations and calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Understanding of basic algebra concepts.

Reasoning Skills:


Ability to listen attentively, comprehend discussions, ask relevant questions, and recognize appropriate moments to contribute.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the criteria set by MPG's insurance providers.
