Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a first shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative, analytical, and technical support for routine day-to-day operations in the Southeast Region.
- Assist with field work, including pick-up and delivery tasks, checking leaks and repairs made by contractors, and completing related paperwork.
- Act as an on-call supervisor and relief supervisor.
- High school diploma with post-high school coursework in secretarial science, business, finance, or accounting.
- 5 years of overall work experience, with at least 3 years in accounting, payroll, or administrative support work.
- Knowledge of standard business practices and principles, including basic accounting and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, including MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, as well as email management systems.
